We done a sketch.  It’s not very good, but it breaks us out of our do-nothing funk.

In our time away, DeviantArt have updated their website in a way that makes posting these picture links a bit more of a pain.  The big thumbnails are still created, but when you click on an images page, you now see the full-size image shrunk down (so, it has the watermark on it.)  Hrm.  Similarly, the direct URLs still exist, but you have to poke around for them.  Hrn.

Anyway, voila.

So we’ve moved all those from ‘Scrapbook’ to general categories, because browsing DA we see that people have put much scrappier things than them in there.

Browsing DA is another one of those things to take confidence in ability, screw it up, and throw it in the bin.  Man alive, some people are good at drawing.  What’s the point, eh?

Fineliner Akira Celebrity Portrature

Pencil sketch, then finelinered.  We assume attempting a vaguely ‘Akira’ style of realistic comic book art.  Drawn from portrait photos of celebrities, again presumably from mags we had at work (although these were drawn A3 at home,) but possibly a couple are just off the internet.  Anyway.  A series of three, with solipsistic annotations making comment (much like the majority constitution of this entire website.  (Not sure of the phrasing there…))
